Exercise is key to living well with diabetes

Dr. Sheri Colberg joins Heather and Jeff tomorrow at 9:30 PDT. Dr. Colberg is an exercise expert and has been living well with Type 1 diabetes for over 40 years. She recently chaired a position stand on “Exercise and Type 2 Diabetes” jointly for the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Diabetes Association, represents the ADA as an organizational partner for the U.S. National Physical Activity Plan, and serves on the ADA’s Prevention Committee.

She will help us understand why physical activity is a key factor in helping people live long and well with diabetes. It doesn’t matter if you have Gestational diabetes, Type 1 or Type 2, physical activity is good for everyone.
